Articept GH ("Articept", "we", "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who visits our website or engages with our services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

This policy applies to information collected through articeptgh.com and any direct communications with us.

We collect information in the following ways:

• Contact form: full name, email address, service interest, and project description.
• Project application form: full name, email address, phone number, a description of your business, what makes your business different, revenue stage, budget range, project timeline, your readiness to pay the 50% deposit, hosting preference, domain ownership, and — if you were referred — an affiliate referral code.
• Affiliate program: if you register as an affiliate, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and the password you set (held securely as a credential by our authentication provider). We also record the referrals and leads associated with your affiliate code.

We do not collect payment information through our website. All payments are made directly via Mobile Money.

We also collect anonymous, aggregate usage data through Google Analytics (GA4) (only with your consent) and Vercel Analytics — such as pages visited, device type, browser, approximate location (country or region), and referring source. See Cookies and Analytics below.

The information you provide is used solely to:

• Respond to your enquiry or project application
• Assess project fit and provide accurate quotes
• Communicate with you throughout the project lifecycle
• Where a referral code is provided, attribute your enquiry to the referring affiliate and administer any resulting commission
• Improve our services based on anonymous usage patterns

We do not use your information for unsolicited marketing, and we do not sell or rent your data to any third party.

Enquiries and applications are delivered to our business email inbox via Resend, a transactional email service.

Where an application includes an affiliate referral code, the associated lead details (your name, email, phone, and the business information you provided) are also stored in our database, hosted by Supabase, so we can attribute and manage the referral. Affiliate account details (name, email, phone) are likewise stored in our Supabase database and authentication system.

We retain this information for as long as necessary to fulfil the project, administer the affiliate program, and meet applicable legal obligations. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

We use the following third-party services in the operation of our website:

• Vercel — website hosting and privacy-friendly analytics. Vercel Privacy Policy
• Supabase — database and authentication, used for affiliate accounts and referred-lead records. Supabase Privacy Policy
• Resend — transactional email delivery for form submissions. Resend Privacy Policy
• Google Analytics (GA4) — website-usage analytics; sets cookies (see below). Google Privacy Policy
• Google Fonts — font delivery via Google's CDN. Google Privacy Policy
• YouTube (Google) — some blog posts include videos. Until you press play, a video is only a still image hosted by us, and nothing is loaded from YouTube. When you press play, the video loads from YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com), and YouTube may then set cookies or store data in your browser under its own policy. Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to measure how the site is used and performs. Because GA4 sets cookies, we load it only after you accept analytics cookies in our consent banner. Nothing is set beforehand. We also use Vercel Analytics, which is privacy-friendly and runs without cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell your data. Videos in blog posts connect to YouTube only after you press play.

You can accept or reject analytics cookies when you first visit, and change your choice at any time through “Cookie preferences” in the site footer. Rejecting clears any Google Analytics cookies already set. You can also opt out through your browser settings or Google's opt-out tools.

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction — request that inaccurate information be corrected.
• Deletion — request that your personal information be deleted.
• Objection — object to the processing of your information.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, including the use of HTTPS encryption, secure API key management, and rate limiting on all form submissions. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our services are not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information through our website, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, including the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843). Any disputes arising from this policy shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
